She has been a successful dancehall practitioner since 1999 when she started choreographing and touring with top dancehall Artistes and has performed at every major stage show across Jamaica and some overseas.

Ms. Style is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dance Jamaica (DanceJA) a Talent/Entertainment Organization, which portrays the culture of Jamaica and its vibrant people. In 2006 she launched the first website highlighting Dancers Worldwide with videos of Dancehall Steps from A-Z. She later developed a series of her very own original dance moves, and through these steps, has stamped her signature style on the industry, infusing her classy, sexy movements, with the unapologetically raw, dancehall ideologies, to create what she calls, her “Stylish Moves”. Latonya Style’s flexibility and versatility have made her a fixture on the worldwide stage. In addition she is an inspiration to other female dancers to strive for excellence within the performing arts.

Latonya Style’s passion to dance and ‘edutain’ (educate/entertain) have become the driving force in her life as she works assiduously to achieve her goals. “The dance experience is always exceptional when you express yourself and be extraordinary” + “Work hard or stay home” + “Dancing is my Passion and my Profession, My Job and my Joy” These are three of her quotes that epitomize her hallmark of excellence in dance and she aims to put the same energy into music.
